1Are Utter Fiction Books actually templates?
Yes. Our titles are posted on-line as complete books and the extent to which they are personalised is entirely up to you. We make it easy to replace the images and text within our books.
2How many of my photos should I include?
Wherever you see a camera icon you can either leave the original image, or replace it with one of your own.
3Is there a minimum resolution for the photos I upload?
Keep in mind that a sharp, high resolution pic will always print more clearly than a small fuzzy one.
4What about book quality?
You'll be thrilled with the quality of Utter Fiction books. Our printing & binding team have already won awards for their expertise & quality book production.
5What about a returns policy?
If your book was damaged during production or delivery, we’ll replace it free of charge.
6Why hasn't my voucher code worked?
If you don't hit the 'VALIDATE' tab at check-out our system won't recognise your code. Have another look!
7My voucher has expired ... can I rescue it?

8Does Sustainability factor into Utter Fiction’s business practices?
Absolutely!
Whilst Utter Fiction is primarily an on-line business, we have held discussions with our suppliers to ensure (as far as possible) that sustainable business practices are followed.
In relation to the printing arm of our business, wood pulp / paper is sourced from sustainable forests and certified by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council).
The Press Sheds where our Indigo Printers are housed have full solar power coverage using 150KW panels.
Whereas our softcover A5 books were once shrink-wrapped in plastic in preparation for delivery, they are now packed in rigid cardboard mailers.
Book Options
1Can we use professional photographs in our books?
Professional photographs are often taken from areas the general public can't access. If you've purchased an image for your own use then using that image in an Utter Fiction personalised book is simply framing a wonderful photograph in a way that you'll enjoy time and time again.
2Can I add more text to a page?
When you fill out the Data Sheet, your details are strategically inserted into all the right spots. You can tweak the text on any page wherever you see a text-icon. If you do add text, pay particular attention to your print preview as it may affect how the page looks when prepared to print
3I may have ignored the suggestion to upgrade my browser when I started editing. Can I still make my book anyway?
Hmmmm, probably not! Remember, it’s free to upgrade your browser and will help prevent blood-pressure issues and spontaneous bouts of swearing.
4What size books are available?
Our default book printed book is an A4 hard-cover. Depending on the book title, there may also be an A5 softcover book ... or even an A4 soft-cover

1Instead of a generic University Graduation Book, can we have a bespoke book for our University, College or School??
Absolutely! And you'll have full control over the content. All background information and imagery will be unique to your university. It'll be up to each graduate to personalise your bespoke Graduation Book to celebrate their academic achievement.
2How do we create a personalised book for our business?
Just call us – we’ve done it all before. We’ll help you identify what to include in your book and guide you through every stage of the process.
3Where will our clients access our book?
Your clients can access your books directly from your website. We'll create a 'white-label' log-in page that only displays your bespoke book (or books of your choosing). We can also include your book on www.utterfiction.com if you prefer.
4Who creates the books that we see on utterfiction.com?
We have corralled a team of authors, photographers, graphic artists, IT Gods, printers and contributors (sometimes, even psychologists) and combined their talents to create each on-line book.
5Does Utter Fiction own this technology?
Yes. Utter Fiction uses proprietary software to create variable-content photobooks & is protected by Patents.
6I have a great idea for a kid’s book. Will you publish it through Utter Fiction?
